Konsop :       Creating Graphic Art is a way to express conceptual idea throughprintmaking process by using block as prototype, and creating images and patterns by paints and inks.

Most of Graphic Arts are created by chemical colors. The chemical compositions in the colors cause the long-term health effects for users. Using Natural colors from plants, earths and flowers is an interesting way. Itcan save the creators’ health and show graphic arts in new dimension, combining the sense of nature and local tradition.

The study and survey in Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat shows that there are many natural materials from the forests in the three provinces can produce colors, such as Indigo, barks of Cashew Tree, Damocles tree, Indian-almond tree, Rose of Sharon, torch ginger flower, golden trumpet flower and laterite.Therefore, the researcher chooses those natural colors to create the graphic art “Records of Natural Dyes from Forests of Three Southern Border Provinces” to present the beauty and charm of natural materials from the forests in the three provinces through the mono - print art. It’s the new - dimension creation of graphic art. That can not only save health and environment, but also reflect the diversity of nature plants in the art perfecting and gracefully.
