History
Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences was founded in 1975 as an educational department in Yala Teachers's College.
In 1985 The government enacted the law of establishment of Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
Department of Teacher Training updated the law of "Teachers College Act" to "Teachers College Act No.2 1984".
This law made it possible for Yala Teachers's College nationwide to have the same obligations and duties as other higher education institutions.
In the field of education management in various fields, teacher production of bachelor level was available at all teacher colleges.
The colleges improved structure to have the "Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences" as Faculty.
1975 Offered the first Bachelor's Degree. Program in English minor in Thai language.
1977 Offered Bachelor of Educations Program in English.
1979 Offered Bachelor of Educations Program in Thai language and Bachelor of Education Program in Social Studies.
1981 Offered Bachelor of Liberal Arts Program in English and Diploma of Arts Program in History.
1985 Offered Diploma of Liberal Arts Program in Art and Applied Arts.
1986 Offered Diploma of Liberal Arts Program in Performing Arts.
1998 Offered Bachelor of Liberal Arts Program in English and Bachelor of Public Administration.
1999 Offered Bachelor of Liberal Arts Program in Thai language.
2001 Offered Bachelor of Liberal Arts Program in Community Development.
2002 Offered Diploma of Liberal Arts Program in Community Development.
2004 Offered Bachelor of Liberal Arts Program in Chinese Language.
2008 Offered Bachelor of Liberal Arts Program in Malay language and Offered Bachelor of Fine Arts Program in Visual Innovation Design .
2012 Offered Bachelor of Law.
2013 Offered Bachelor of Fine Art Program in Arts Design.
2014 Offered Bachelor of Liberal Arts Program in Information Science.
2016 Offered Bachelor of Liberal Arts Program in Arabic language and Offered Bachelor of Educations Program in Malay language.
